Sara Smith is an RN with 25 years of experience, graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She devoted 15 years working for the Veterans Administration in several roles, Intensive Care, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Case Management and Home Healthcare. 

She worked in Intensive Care throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, provided Case Management remotely and provided expert care on a Cardiac Intervention Unit. She has also precepted many students and nurses in various roles. She has strong beliefs in providing holistic care to her patients encompassing physical and mental health, patient and family education, teamwork and patient advocacy.
